Job Description

This is an individual contributor Sales Manager role reporting to the Regional Director. The primary responsibility is to drive business growth within government, public institutions, and conglomerates by selling technology devices and bundled solutions. The role involves generating leads, converting them into opportunities, and closing contracts. It requires developing and executing client-level selling strategies, nurturing high-potential leads through professional networking and events, and building trusted relationships with regional executives. The manager must understand client needs, devise business deals for RFI/RFPs, and continuously learn new market developments.
Must have:
  • Provide and sell technology devices, including bundled solutions.
  • Generate leads and convert them into valid opportunities and closed contracts.
  • Assist in developing and executing corporate client level selling strategies.
  • Develop and nurture high potential leads through professional networking and events.
  • Establish trusted relationships with regional executives and decision makers.
  • Strategically assess customer vertical targets and support team in developing business relationships.
  • Build and maintain industry network to position the business as a telecommunication technology partner.
  • Lead efforts in understanding client needs, business visits, and collaborations.
  • Be impactful in answering client requests for RFI/RFPs, understanding long sales cycles.
  • Be empathetic and objective in solutioning for clients by understanding their background.
  • Continuously learn new developments, solutions, and trends.
  • Positively assist and collaborate on won projects under transitions.

Job Description

This role is an individual contributor role and will be reporting directly to the Regional Director of the business unit. Your main responsibilities would be to grow the business where your verticals will traditionally be of government, public institutions, and conglomerates. You are to win new businesses and consult them on how your solutions can enhance their operations and security through the means of technology.

Your general responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Providing and selling technology devices, including bundled solutions to enhance customer’s operations.
  • Generate leads, turning leads into valid opportunities for the team to work on initial pilot projects, and ultimately to close contracts to seal the revenue generation.
  • Assist in developing and executing corporate client level selling strategies.
  • Develop and nurture any high potential leads. You are to engage through your professional acquaintances, events (conferences, seminars, etc.), business and client presentations.
  • Relate and circle with regional executives and decision makers. You are to establish a trusted and credible relationship and being able to deliver your commitments.
  • Strategically assess your customer vertical targets to work & engage with. You are to support the team to develop fruitful strategic business relationship.
  • Build and maintain your network within the industry to position and grow the business as the telecommunication technology partner of choice.
  • Be the leader in putting effort for understanding client’s needs, business visits, and for business collaboration/meetings.
  • Be impactful in answering client’s request when devising business deals and agreements for RFI/RFPs. The sales cycle will be long.
  • You are to be empathetic and objective in solutioning for clients by understanding their background motives, pain-points, and history of their effort done.
  • Continuously learn new developments, solutions, and trends to adopt. You are to be relevant with the market on your offerings and solutions proposal.
  • Positively assist & collaborate on won projects under transitions.

  • You need to have an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen to win the competition.
  • You are required to foster and grow mutually fruitful relationship, objective in negotiation, and convincing influencing skills.
  • Your technologies and solutions are premium and will always face competition that are priced lower.
  • You will face obstacles throughout your journey with the business. This role needs you to be present, effective, able to negotiate appropriately, and to mediate conflicts of interests.
  • While your primary objective is to drive revenue growth for the business, it is also dependent on your communication skills that are needed to be tactful, objective, and rational.
  • Existing professional contacts and networks within the public institutions and conglomerates is a major plus
