Job Description

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business by obtaining appointments with prospects, creating winning proposals by analyzing their marketing challenges, engaging with prospects, negotiating and closing sales, and ensuring a smooth transition for new clients. The ideal candidate should understand marketing issues, have a talent for initiating deals, master the management of long and complex sales cycles, and have excellent communication skills. You will be part of a global team, helping major brands with their marketing strategies.

  • Talent for initiating deals and acquiring new clients
  • Ability to identify key issues for each prospect
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles
Good to have:
  • Experience in market research institutes

Vos responsabilités

En tant que Sales Manager, vous serez chargé de :

  • Développer le New Business : Obtenir des rendez-vous avec des prospects, seul ou accompagné par nos talentueux business developers, les véritables chasseurs de l’équipe.
  • Créer des propositions gagnantes : Élaborer des business cases sur mesure en analysant les défis marketing spécifiques de vos prospects.
  • Engager avec les prospects : Comprendre leurs besoins, présenter efficacement nos solutions et démontrer la valeur ajoutée de YouGov.
  • Négocier et conclure des ventes : Gérer vos deals en autonomie et proposer des solutions créatives adaptées à chaque situation.
  • Assurer la transition des nouveaux clients : Collaborer avec nos consultants et account managers pour un onboarding fluide. Notre équipe New Business est exclusivement orientée sur l’acquisition de nouveaux clients !

Profil recherché

Nous recherchons un candidat qui :

  • Possède une bonne compréhension des enjeux marketing liés aux marques et un vif intérêt pour les stratégies de marques.
  • Est talentueux pour initier de nouveaux deals et motivé par la conquête de nouveaux clients.
  • Identifie facilement les « sujets chauds » propres à chaque prospect.
  • Maîtrise la gestion de cycles de vente longs et complexes impliquant des interlocuteurs de niveau C-level (direction marketing, communication, études, etc.).
  • Exprime d’excellentes capacités de communication orale et écrite.
  • Fait preuve d’un grand esprit de synthèse.
  • Se sent à l’aise avec l’analyse de données et l’interprétation de graphiques.
  • Parle couramment anglais, langue de travail commune avec les bureaux internationaux de YouGov.
  • Possède un atout précieux s’il a une expérience commerciale en institut d’études.
