Job Description

NICE is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to support the sales organization by streamlining order processing, license management, quoting, and operational reporting. The role requires handling complex order workflows, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and collaborating cross-functionally. The ideal candidate will have experience with software license contracts and strong communication skills to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in a SaaS or software company.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, NetSuite).
  • Understanding of revenue recognition and compliance implications for orders and licensing.
Must Have:
  • Submit and process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to ensure all order documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Monitor and resolve any order-related issues that may impact fulfillment or revenue recognition.
  • Create, review, and manage sales quotes in SFDC CPQ tool.
  • Ensure quote accuracy, proper configuration, and compliance with pricing policies and discount guidelines.
  • Support sales teams during the quoting process by providing guidance on procedures and system usage.
  • Understand and interpret software license contracts and related terms.
  • Perform license updates and ensure internal systems reflect the most current entitlement and contract information.
  • Provide license extensions as required and ensure alignment with customer agreements.
  • Generate and support Business Operations reports; manage and track associated tickets.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams to resolve customer or system-related issues promptly.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Customer Success teams to navigate order processes and provide operational support.
  • Act as a point of contact for sales inquiries related to order status, licensing, quoting, and tools.
  • Calculate End-of-Life (EOL) fees for Term-based software agreements.
  • Communicate financial outcomes and implications to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and correctness.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Operations, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Order Management, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with software licensing models and commercial contract terms is required.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, CPQ tools (such as Q2D), Excel, and order management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

How will you make an impact?

Order Management

  • Submit and process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to ensure all order documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Monitor and resolve any order-related issues that may impact fulfillment or revenue recognition.

Quoting

  • Create, review, and manage sales quotes in SFDC CPQ tool
