Senior Infrastructure Operations Analyst

Endava is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Operations Analyst to maintain and develop operational infrastructure technology for 24x7x365 uptime. The role involves monitoring system performance, capacity planning, managing Linux and Microsoft Infrastructures, and implementing software upgrades. Candidates should have strong scripting skills (Powershell, Shell, Perl, Python, Terraform), experience with configuration management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible) and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git), and excellent troubleshooting abilities. The position requires 8-12 years of experience and a process-oriented approach.

Must Have

• Proactively maintain and develop all operational infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service.
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
• Good knowledge and experience in managing Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.
• Good knowledge and experience in managing Microsoft Infrastructures (Windows Server, Active Directory, RDS) and Hypervisor technology (Hyper-V and VMware).
• Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, certificates, hot fixes and on servers, workstations, and network hardware.
• Awareness of vulnerability management systems and security remediation.
• Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP.
• Expert in Powershell, Shell, Perl, and/or Python, terraform scripting.
• Strong grasp on configuration management tools, such as Puppet and Chef, Ansible.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, etc.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills: Able to solve authentication issues, troubleshoot connectivity issues with servers and certificates.
• Experience with integrating applications and providing support related to infrastructure.
• Enhance and improve existing infrastructure through automation and reporting.
• Take handoff of problems from SME leads and work them independently to root cause.
• Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for Infrastructure issues.
• Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
• Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
• 8-12 years of experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work in Night shift / US Business Hours / On-Call as required.
• Should have process orientated approach.
• Desire to learn and ability to implement the learnings swiftly.
• Should be a Good Team player, highly motivated and ambitious.
• Ability to manage work as per the targets agreed.
• Ability to work in a virtual and remote environment.

Qualifications

8-12 years

Server infrastructure (Windows & Linux), Fileservers, Security fundamentals, network devices such as load balancers and Firewalls

Hyper Converged Infrastructure:VCenter, Infrastructure:Infrastructure Monitoring, Networking:Networking
