Job Summary

The Global Sales Operations & Enablement team at eBay drives operational excellence and productivity for the Global Seller Development organization. This role focuses on improving sales team operations and strategy implementation by crafting scalable operating models, processes, and insights. Responsibilities include developing go-to-market frameworks, optimizing revenue, managing pipelines, and designing standard operating methodologies to accelerate seller success and business outcomes.

Must Have

  • Develop and evolve go-to-market frameworks, revenue optimization strategies, pipeline management standards, and resource allocation models.
  • Find opportunities for process optimization and automation across the end-to-end seller lifecycle.
  • Design and implement standard operating methodologies, ensuring global consistency.
  • Build and maintain pre- and post-sales playbooks, including seller segmentation models and engagement frameworks.
  • Own project requirements documentation, including process flows, swim lanes, use cases, and success metrics.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and design through delivery, testing, and rollout.
  • Support portfolio-level planning, prioritization, status tracking, and executive updates across multiple initiatives.
  • Translate new processes, tools, and strategies into clear, actionable enablement assets.
  • Partner with sales leaders and team members to ensure enablement is role-based, timely, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Deliver and support training sessions tied to major launches, process changes, and new ways of working.
  • Monitor adoption and effectiveness of processes and enablement through feedback loops, usage data, and performance metrics.
  • Act as a link between strategy and execution, ensuring teams understand not just what is changing, but why and how to apply it.
  • Support organizational change by reinforcing new behaviors through enablement, communication, and ongoing reinforcement.
  • Proven experience leading ground-breaking initiatives in sales operations, enablement, or business operations within a technology or platform-based sales environment.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools, analytics, or automation to drive scale, consistency, and better decision-making.
  • Strong background of using data, insights, and process design to drive measurable business impact.
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships across sales, product, analytics, and operations teams.
  • Highly dedicated to delivering outcomes with a preference for taking initiative and ownership.
  • Deeply process-minded, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to balance executive-level storytelling with detailed operational rigor.
  • Proven ability to operate independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Experience with program or project management, including scoping, timeline management, documentation, change management, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM functionality and standard sales methodologies.

  • Experience working in a hands-on, start-up or scaling environment.
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce-driven sales motions and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

About The Team And The Role

The Global Sales Operations & Enablement team drives operational excellence and team productivity across eBay’s Global Seller Development(GSD) organization. We support Business Development, Account Management, 3rd Party Partnerships, and Integration teams by delivering actionable insights, scalable processes, and role-based enablement that accelerate seller success and business outcomes.

The Sales Operations & Enablement Manager plays a significant role in improving how our sales teams operate and implement strategies. This role is responsible for crafting and scaling the operating models, processes, and insights that drive productivity and consistency, while ensuring those capabilities are efficiently embedded through clear playbooks, training, and adoption support. The role serves as a link between strategy and execution, translating complex initiatives into practical, repeatable ways of working that enable teams to perform at their best. The role partners closely with GSD leaders, eBay Live, Analytics, CRM, Product, and Category teams and is central to driving operational rigor, transformation efforts, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Accomplish

Sales Operations

  • Develop and evolve go-to-market frameworks, revenue optimization strategies, pipeline management standards, and resource allocation models to improve sales productivity and performance.
  • Find opportunities for process optimization and automation across the end-to-end seller lifecycle, from acquisition through growth and retention.
  • Design and implement standard operating methodologies, ensuring global consistency while allowing for regional nuance where needed.
  • Build and maintain pre- and post-sales playbooks, including seller segmentation models and engagement frameworks.
  • Own project requirements documentation, including process flows, swim lanes, use cases, and success metrics.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and design through delivery, testing, and rollout.
