This Salesforce Developer role is part of the Salesforce India Return to Work Program, a six-month contract program for women returning to their careers. Participants will work within Salesforce's Technology, Sales, or Customer Success teams, receiving on-the-job training and mentorship. The role involves application design, development, customization, and integration of Salesforce.com applications.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of overall experience.
  • 1-2 years of application design and development experience.
  • Experience developing and customizing Salesforce.com applications via web services, Apex, SOQL, Visual Force, Eclipse IDE, Data Loader, Reports, and Dashboards.
  • 2+ years of experience working with clients and vendors developing solutions and supporting projects from requirements gathering to release management.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications.
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment and deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.
  • Manage day-to-day development activities on the salesforce.com platform using Apex and Visual Force.
  • Support the creation of customizations and integrations required for solution delivery.
  • Configure the Salesforce.com application based on business requirements.
  • Develop custom applications using Apex, VisualForce, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS.
  • Apply best practices to build Salesforce.com applications.
  • Create actionable technical documentation.
  • Assist with scoping and planning of CRM-related projects and initiatives.
Good to have:
  • Certified Salesforce Developer / Administrator.

Salesforce Developer Role

Our aspiration is to create a workplace that looks like society — where everyone feels seen, heard, valued, and empowered to succeed. We put this into action with the Salesforce India Return to Work Program, which provides women who have taken a career break a platform and opportunity to jumpstart their professional journey.

It is a six months program on third party contract and over the course of six months, program participants will work within Salesforce's Technology, Sales, or Customer Success team, receive on-the-job training from Salesforce leaders, and be paired with a mentor to help navigate their career.

Overall Experience: 5+ years

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of application design and development experience. Have an experience developing and customizing Salesforce.com applications via web services, Apex, SOQL, Visual Force, Eclipse IDE, Data Loader, Reports, and Dashboards
  • 2+ years of working with clients and vendors developing solutions and supporting projects from requirements gathering to release management
  • Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment and deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day development activities on the salesforce.com platform using Apex and Visual Force
  • Support the creation of customizations and integrations required for solution delivery
  • Configure the Salesforce.com application based on the business requirements
  • Develop custom applications using Apex, VisualForce, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS
  • Apply best practices and experience to build Salesforce.com applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system administrators, and other developers, to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Create actionable technical documentation based on gathered business requirements
  • Assist with scoping and planning of various CRM-related projects and initiatives

Certifications

  • Certified Salesforce Developer / Administrator is a plus.
