Job Description

The Scaled Solutions Engineer at gTech Ads will be responsible for collecting requirements, providing guidance, and best practices for ad products and technologies. They will design and build scalable solutions for global reuse by customers, sellers, and partners. This role requires leveraging engineering skills to adapt existing solutions into globally scalable ones supporting thousands of customers. The engineer will own the solution lifecycle, from discovery to launch, handling maintenance, bugs, feature requests, and deprecation. The position involves close collaboration with sales, product, and engineering teams within Google to improve products and enhance client experience. Strong project management, technical troubleshooting, and communication skills are essential. The role requires experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP), programming languages (Java, C/C++, Python), and delivering technical projects. Experience with ad tech products is preferred.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
3+ years web technologies experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP)
3+ years coding experience (Java, C/C++, Python)
2+ years in delivering technical projects
Technical troubleshooting & partner management
Cross-functional team collaboration

Good to have:

MBA or Master's degree
Ad tech product experience (ad server, DSP, DMP)
Project management & leadership skills
Data-driven proposal formulation
Excellent written & verbal communication

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
2 years of experience in delivering technical projects.
Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
Experience partnering/working with cross-functional teams translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA or Master's degree in a related technical field.
Experience working with ad tech products - ad server, demand-side platforms, data management platform such as web analytics.
Effective project management, and leadership skills investigative capabilities and demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven proposals.
Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.

Responsibilities

Collect requirements, provide guidance, and best practices to apply to ad products and technologies
Be responsible for proactive scope, design, and build series of solutions and best practices at a global level to be reused by customers, sellers, partners.
Leverage engineer skills to adapt existing bespoke ads solutions created by regional teams into global scaled solutions that can support thousands of customers.
Own solution life cycle from discovery, to launch, handle maintenance bugs and feature requests, as well as deprecation for a portfolio of scaled solutions.
