Luxoft is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join a team migrating approximately 20 applications from on-premise to Azure Cloud. The role involves designing and implementing cloud-based microservices, working within an Agile team, and learning new technologies. Responsibilities include re-architecting, redesigning, and implementing applications according to cloud-ready rules, migrating data, and integrating with new pipelines, collaborating closely with devops, backend, frontend developers, and analysts.

Good To Have:

Experience in working with relational databases and caching
Experience in Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS) or willing to learn new techniques and approaches

Must Have:

Design and implement cloud-based solutions using microservices.
Be a part of our Agile engineering team.
Interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions
Knowledge and effective usage of JavaScript and Node.js
Strong in JavaScript, 3+ years of experience
Experience in NodeJS
3+ years experience in React.js
REST/RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS, front-end build pipelines, and tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

Project description

We have an ambitious goal to migrate ~20 applications from an on-prem solution to Azure Cloud. Some of the applications are already well written with Java/Spring and JS/ReactJs stack and require only small changes to be cloud ready.

Some of them have to be completely rewritten from scratch. It includes re-architecture and redesign, implementation according to cloud ready rules, migration data to cloud, integration with new pipelines and close work within the team (devops, backend and frontend devs, analysts).

Responsibilities

We are looking for a software engineer to:
Design and implement cloud-based solutions using microservices.
Be a part of our Agile engineering team.
Interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions
Knowledge and effective usage of JavaScript and Node.js

Skills

Must have

Strong in JavaScript, 3+ years of experience;
Experience in NodeJS
3+ years experience in React.js;
REST/RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS, front-end build pipelines, and tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

Nice to have
