Job Description
This role involves a modernization project for core business systems of a large insurance client. The Senior/Lead Java Developer will support applications in Kubernetes, decouple monolithic applications into smaller services, and migrate to a modern technology stack. Key responsibilities include onboarding to customer processes, ensuring cloud readiness with Azure APIM and Gateway integration, collaborating with teams for optimal solutions, and actively utilizing static and GenAI-based code conversion tools.

Responsibilities
- We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who can help to perform migration of client platform:
- Quickly onboard to Customer's processes
- Ensure Cloud Readiness and integration of Azure APIM and Gateway
- Collaborate with other teams and client to find the best solutions
- Active applying of static and GenAI based code conversion tools
Skills
Must have
- Readiness to work until 8.00 pm CET (no need to do overtimes);
- At least 4 years' work experience including enterprise backend system design experience;
- Strong knowledge of Java language and Spring/Spring Boot;
- Deep understanding of enterprise application architecture patterns;
- Experience with distributed systems;
- Good knowledge of SQL;
- Familiar with microservice architecture patterns;
- Familiar with Containers and Orchestration Systems (Kubernetes/PKS/OpenShift);
- Experience with PostgreSQL/Oracle/SQL Server;
- Adoption of Agile and DevOps culture;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure and knowledge of cloud architecture patterns;
- Experience with distributed cache systems;
- Experience with GenAI tools or solutions.
