Job Description

We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our team. In this role, you will work with enthusiastic members to support critical technology systems and guide business partners and end-users with industry best practices, solution design, and creating long-term value. You will act as a servant leader to an Agile team, educating them on Scaled Agile practices and values, coaching them in self-organization and continuous improvement, and guiding them to consistently deliver customer value. Responsibilities include managing risks, mitigating impediments, and negotiating dependencies. You will also facilitate Scrum events such as Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives. Collaboration with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, and prioritized is essential, as is establishing and maintaining clear team communication for progress transparency. You will also work with peer Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and Agile Coaches to enhance Scaled Agile effectiveness.   • Certified SAFe Scrum Master

Requirements and responsibilities
 
What you'll do
 
  • In this role, you will be working with a team of enthusiastic members supporting our critical technology systems and guiding our business partners & end users with industry best practices, solution design, and creating long-term value for our customers;
  • Act as Servant leader to an Agile team;
  • Educate Agile teams to maximize efficiencies and performance from Scaled Agile practices and values;
  • Coach Agile teams in self-organization and continuous improvement;
  • Guide the Agile teams to consistently deliver customer value;
  • Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Agile teams;
  • Facilitate Scrum events including, Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives;
  • Work with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the Agile team;
  • Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate progress transparency;
  • Work with peer Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and Agile Coaches to increase the effectiveness of Scaled Agile.

  • Ability to facilitate constructive debate and resolve disagreements and conflicts constructively;
  • Deliver hands-on training and coaching of defined Agile practices to individual teams and programs;
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally across multiple product portfolios;
  • Experience leading teams as a Scrum Master;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
 
Additional skills
 
  • Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC); 
  • Certified SAFe Scrum Master;
  • Certified PSM or CSM.
