Job Summary

Concentrix is seeking an SDET Engineer to translate business requirements into test deliverables and systems. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and sustaining test automation processes throughout the software development lifecycle. The successful candidate will lead test automation strategy, create maintainable, high-quality automated test code and frameworks, and ensure effective automated test execution and integration into delivery pipelines. The position supports development teams, enhances software quality and reliability, and contributes to customer satisfaction within Concentrix Catalyst's professional services team.

Must Have

  • Develop and maintain automated and manual tests for IVR and Contact Center Technologies
  • Ensure requirements and user stories are testable and clarify ambiguities
  • Coordinate with development and operations teams to uphold testing practices
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and systems
  • 3 years of overall experience as SDET engineer or a similar role
  • Programming fluency in Java, Spring boot, Go, or scripting in Shell, Perl, or Python
  • 2 years of experience in Gitlab Trunk based development, environment automation and management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience

Good to Have

  • Strong experience in supporting and maintaining Speech IVR systems
  • Experience creating and using automated testing and deployment tools

Job Description

The SDET Engineer translates business and functional requirements into test deliverables and systems. It primarily involves developing, implementing, and sustaining test automation processes throughout software development and sustainment lifecycles. The role is distinguished by leading test automation strategy and creating maintainable, high-quality automated test code and frameworks. Success is measured by the effectiveness of automated test execution, integration into delivery pipelines, and quality assurance outcomes. The work impacts organizational software quality and reliability, supporting development teams and enhancing customer satisfaction. Designs, develops, and maintains automation systems and tools to be used by development and test engineers to support IVR and Contact Center Technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated and manual tests to measure product quality and support continuous delivery pipelines for IVR and Contact Center Technologies
  • Ensure requirements and user stories are testable and clarify ambiguities to support accurate test design and execution Assess critical path and assist in implementation of any project required by the business.
  • Coordinate with development and operations teams to uphold testing practices and meet quality thresholds
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and systems to support development and testing activities

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of overall experience as SDET engineer or a similar role
  • Programming fluency experience in one or more of: Java, Spring boot, Go, or scripting experience in Shell, Perl, or Python.
  • 2 years of experience in Gitlab Trunk based development, environment automation and management.

Nice to have Qualifications

Education Required:
