The Cloud & Smart Industries Group (CSIG) at Tencent is seeking a Security Pre-Sales Architect for South Korea. This role is crucial for driving the company's cloud and industry Internet strategy by exploring user and industry interactions. The architect will be responsible for security pre-sales support, including solution delivery, customer acquisition, and market promotion, with a focus on revenue generation from security products. Key responsibilities include analyzing industry trends, developing business strategies aligned with customer needs, and assisting R&D teams in establishing systematic processes for POC and post-sales support to ensure sustainable business development in the region.

Must Have:
  • Provide security pre-sales support in South Korea, including solution delivery and customer acquisition.
  • Drive revenue generation from security-related products in the region.

  • Assist R&D teams in establishing systematic processes for POC, delivery, and post-sales support.
  • Possess 3+ years of ToB security solution experience.
  • Familiarity with mainstream security products and cloud network architecture.
  • Demonstrate strong cross-team collaboration, customer service mindset, and security technical expertise.
  • Effectively communicate and present to clients.
  • Exhibit strong logical thinking to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Be fluent in both Korean and Chinese working environments.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for project support.

What the Role Entails

1. Responsible for security pre-sales support in the South Korea region, including solution delivery, customer acquisition and conversion, and market promotion, with accountability for revenue generation from security-related products in the region.

2. Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor insights to develop business strategies aligned with customer scenarios and Tencent Security’s core strengths, creating replicable approaches to drive product revenue, customer growth, and enhance customer satisfaction and industry influence.

3. Assist product R&D teams in establishing systematic processes for POC, delivery, and post-sales support in South Korea to ensure sustainable business development in the region.

Who We Look For

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, with 3+ years of ToB security solution experience. Familiarity with mainstream security products and cloud network architecture is required. Experience in gaming, Web3.0, or related industries is a plus.

2. Strong cross-team collaboration skills, excellent customer service mindset, and security technical expertise, with the ability to effectively communicate and present to clients.

3. Strong logical thinking to accurately identify customer needs, capture industry trends, deliver tailored solutions, and establish best practices through benchmark cases.

4. Fluency in both Korean and Chinese working environments. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to drive cross-departmental collaboration. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.

5. Willingness to travel domestically in South Korea and between South Korea and China for project support or business exchanges as needed.
