Security Technical Advisor

Microsoft AI’s (MAI) mission is to use AI responsibly to make everyone more informed, capable, and supported. MAI is responsible for Microsoft’s consumer propositions including Copilot, Bing, MSN, Microsoft Advertising, and Edge, as well as developing proprietary foundational AI models. MAI works closely with a variety of teams across Microsoft and across the full AI stack to deliver on Microsoft’s AI ambitions. Security, and our Secure Futures Initiative, is a critical priority for us as we evolve our product offering.  

 

We’re on the lookout for a strong Security Technical Advisor to join the office of the CEO of MAI. The right candidate takes the initiative and enjoys finding paths through complexity in a fast-paced environment. This role entails offering strategic, technical counsel utilizing their proven experience in security software engineering to enhance executive decision-making and mitigate vulnerabilities across the business. This role will involve analyzing vulnerabilities, conducting targeting security reviews and research, identifying and evaluating new areas for research, and performing analysis into emerging threats. This is a unique opportunity to have a positive impact on improving the digital safety for millions of users around the world. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across a variety of different projects and evaluations as they surface ad-hoc and will be able to clearly synthesize insights into clear exec-level written documents.
