G-Space Studio is seeking a Senior 3D Environment Artist with a passion for creating high-quality 3D assets and materials. Since 2011, the company has been developing games and applications for clients in Europe, Canada, and the USA, specializing in PC games, AR/VR experiences, and mobile games. The role involves creating environment assets, including architectural modules and materials, proposing artistic solutions to improve workflow efficiency and asset quality, managing asset creation documentation, and working with natural environments to add realism. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, proficiency in Maya or 3DS Max, expertise in Zbrush or Blender, experience with Photoshop, Substance Painter, and Substance Designer, and a strong understanding of PBR materials and game art pipelines. They should also be proficient in English.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience creating 3D environment assets
  • Proficiency in Maya or 3DS Max
  • Expertise in Zbrush or Blender for sculpting
  • Experience with Photoshop, Substance Painter, Substance Designer
  • Expertise in PBR materials
  • Proficiency in English (Upper-Intermediate+)
  • Portfolio showcasing skills
Good to have:
  • Part of at least one released AAA title
  • Understanding of technical limitations in game art assets and pipelines
  • Specialization in level setting and environment dressing
  • Experience with Unreal Engine

The journey began with a humble team of indie Flash game developers, which has since grown into a seasoned collective of game development veterans. With a deep passion for gaming and extensive knowledge of the field, G-Space Studio specializes in creating a variety of high-quality products. This includes engaging PC games, immersive AR/VR experiences, and captivating mobile games.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in creating 3D environment assets.
  • Proficiency in Maya or 3DS Max, and expertise in Zbrush or Blender for sculpting.
  • Been part of at least one released AAA title.
  • A thorough understanding of technical limitations in game art assets and pipelines.
  • Skills in creating textures using Photoshop, Substance Painter, and Substance Designer.
  • Expertise in developing PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials.
  • Specialize in level setting and environment dressing, ensuring immersive and cohesive settings;
  • A team-focused mindset with outstanding communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine.
  • A portfolio that showcases your skill.
  • Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
Responsibilities:
