ArenaNet is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and reconcile financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company accounting policies. Responsibilities include reconciling bank transactions, managing fixed asset ledgers, analyzing and booking intercompany transactions, and assisting with month-end close processes, cash management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, experience with large datasets, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. The role involves identifying and implementing process improvements and resolving discrepancies.
Must have:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee and reconcile various financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company accounting policy. The senior accountant’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, reconciling bank transactions, maintaining fixed asset ledgers and reconciliations, analyzing and booking intercompany transactions, and other accounting duties as assigned. To be successful in this role, the senior accountant should have a strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, be detail-oriented, and experienced in working with large datasets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assist with month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and preparation of month-end reconciliations in a timely manner
  • Cash management and analysis, ensuring records are kept up to date and accurate
  • Fixed Asset management, including analyzing invoices for potential capitalization and working with business partners on maintaining accurate records
  • Analyzing, booking, and reconciling intercompany and investment transactions.
  • Preparation and maintenance of lease accounting schedules
  • Aid with monthly financial reporting and variance analysis in coordination with FP&A
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies, audit findings, and other compliance issues
  • Proactively identifies control weaknesses and inefficient processes; works with the team to initiate, develop, and implement process improvements
  • Performing other accounting duties as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 5+ years of corporate accounting experience
  • CPA is a plus, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial statements.
  • Experience with full-cycle accounting
  • Demonstration of strong analytical skills and the ability to drive process changes.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), familiarity with accounting and data reporting systems.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

This is a hybrid position based out of our office in Bellevue, WA, requiring onsite work two days a week.

Please note that the pay range listed in this job posting reflects the full salary range for this position. While we provide this range to offer transparency, our target hiring range typically falls between the minimum and the midpoint, allowing for growth potential within the role.

Total compensation is salary plus an annual bonus potential. When determining an offer amount, many things are taken into consideration such as qualifications, experience, internal equity and work location. We strive to provide competitive and equitable compensation packages to all our employees.

$95,788 - $143,693 USD
