Job Description

Aisera is seeking a Senior AIOps Engineer in Bangalore to design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions for Enterprise IT infrastructure and application management. This role involves partnering with various teams to bridge business and technology, demonstrating the value of Aisera's Conversational AI & AI Ops platform to clients, and ensuring successful customer adoption. The engineer will leverage their expertise in ITIL, scripting, cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and DevOps practices to automate IT operations and drive business transformation.
Must have:
  • Design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions for Enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Partner with multiple teams to bridge business and technology for clients.
  • Understand and demonstrate the Aisera platform's value proposition.
  • Sound knowledge of ITIL Foundations and experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or other scripting, and Low-Code / No-code platforms.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and workflows for automation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Working knowledge of containers like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in integrating with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Nagios, Datadog, ELK Stack).
  • Understanding of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles & CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to communicate with clients, handle objections, and suggest work-around solutions.
  • Ability to scope pilot projects (PoCs), document scope, and communicate technical requirements.
  • Drive pilot projects to successful completion.
  • At least 2 years of past Infrastructure Management experience and 7 to 10 years of overall experience.
  • Solid understanding of IT operations, infrastructure management, and application performance monitoring.
  • Good written documentation skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, leading small technical projects.
Good to have:
  • Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for operational data analysis.
  • Focus on anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and automated root cause analysis.
  • Prompt Engineering skills.
  • ITIL certification.

The Role: AI Ops Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AIOps Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI-driven solutions that automate Enterprise IT infrastructure and application management. You will partner with multiple teams to help bridge business and technology, helping customers realize the art of the possible with cutting-edge Conversational AI & AI Ops. Your role will be to understand the Aisera platform and use it to demonstrate the value proposition to our clients. You will also partner closely with the post-sales teams to ensure your customers are able to successfully harness the power of Aisera.

Mandatory Technical Skills and Responsibilities (Weightage 50%)

  • Sound Knowledge of ITIL Foundations and usage experience of any one ITSM Tool (eg ServiceNow).
  • Scripting : Knowledge of JavaScript or any other scripting too. Usage of any Low-Code / No-code platform. Past experience working with REST APIs and workflows for automation.
  • Cloud Platforms: Extensive hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform is mandatory (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Working Knowledge containers - eg Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Expertise in integrating with and leveraging data from any standard monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Nagios, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Splunk.
  • DevOps & SRE Practices: Understanding of tools like Ansible / Terraform / Jenkins/ Helm. Understanding of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles & CI/CD pipelines.
  • AI/ML Expertise: Desirable, but not mandatory. Design, train, and deploy machine learning models to analyze operational data (logs, metrics, traces). Your focus will be on anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and automated root cause analysis. Prompt Engineering is a highly desirable skill.

Mandatory Softskills (Weightage 50%)

  • Ability to communicate with clients, ask relevant questions, handle objections and suggest work-around solutions.
  • Ability to scope pilot projects (PoCs), document scope and clearly communicate technical requirements and dependencies.
  • Drive pilot projects to successful completion.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understanding of the Aisera platform and communicating the value proposition to clients.
  • Understand client requirements and map them into the platform capabilities and execution steps.
  • Define, build, and execute demos & Proof of Concepts
  • Troubleshoot issues and/or escalate to necessary teams during demo prep and POCs
  • Participate in necessary onboarding activities: work closely with CSMs, CSEs, SAs for onboarding, education, workshops, escalation management and other activities to ensure successful customer launch
  • Continuously research and implement new technologies and best practices in the AIOps domain.
  • Troubleshoot and provide expert support for AIOPs tools and solutions.

Qualifications

  • At 2 least years of past Infrastructure Mgt experience and 7 to 10 years of overall experience.
  • ITIL certification is desirable; knowledge is mandatory.
  • Solid understanding of IT operations, infrastructure management, and application performance monitoring.
  • Good written documentation skills - eg SoW. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills - leading and driving small technical projects.
