PwC is seeking a Senior Associate Java/Python Developer for Risk Analytics - GRC Advisory in Hyderabad. This role involves redesigning and migrating a monolithic application to a microservices-based, data-driven streaming platform. The ideal candidate is an autonomous, motivated team player passionate about customer experience and on-time delivery, with strong communication skills. Responsibilities include owning the application migration and ensuring efficient, scalable solutions. This is a technically challenging role for a seasoned software engineer.

Job Description & Summary
Are you looking for a technically challenging role? then we’ve one for you. We are looking for a seasoned software engineer to design and execute our platform migration from monolithic to microservice based architecture. In this role you’ll / Your main responsibilities
- You’ll be responsible for redesigning the application from present monolithic architecture to microservices based architecture, in the most efficient and scalable way.
- You’ll be owning the application migration from current platform to data driven streaming platform

Mandatory skill sets
- Hands on experience in Java 8/ Python
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Spring / Guice
- Hands on experience in Sprint Boot, Web service (Rest Service), Microservice based Architecture
- Good understanding of design patterns and should be able to design solutions and algorithms.
- Experience in migrating monolithic application to microservice will be a plus
- Experience with NoSQL DBs. Couchbase, MongoDB will be a plus
- Experience in any Message Queue, Kafka knowledge will be a plus
- Exposure to OpenShift, Docker + Kubernetes will be a plus
