Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our Finance Project Management Office (PMO) team. As a pivotal member of our team, you will drive alignment of business requirements and solution designs to meet project objectives for finance stakeholders. This role is integral to business planning and execution stages, involving documentation, solution design feedback, and process mapping. You will act as a liaison between end-users and engineering development teams during defect resolution and support capturing and communication of change impacts resulting from projects.
Must have:
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the organization on projects and programs for finance
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to plan, schedule, and execute project activities
  • Lead the business analysis of current-state processes and influence changes to support project initiatives and Future of Finance goals
  • Liaise between multiple teams conducting impact analysis and refine detailed requirements
  • Develop requirements documentation through close collaboration with engineering teams and finance stakeholders
  • Influence process and system requirements to improve experiences for Autodesk employees and customers
  • Document and update business process documentation to reflect project or program changes
  • Perform risk assessments of deferred requirements to determine proper prioritization of backlog items
  • Confirm finance signoff on requirements and business process workflows
  • Support UAT activities, including documentation of test scenarios and data preconditions, monitoring during execution, and defect resolution
  • Support Change Management activities, including documenting system impacts

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, information systems, business, or accounting
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, business process mapping, and system implementations
  • Proficiency with business process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
  • Strong self-management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA)
  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce, NetSuite, and similar enterprise applications
