As a Senior Business Development Executive, you will leverage your expertise in the Social Services market within the SLED-Public Sector. You will utilize existing relationships with Public Sector Executive decision-makers and proven 'hunter' sales experience to expand TransUnion's market share with industry-leading solutions, contributing to a team dedicated to success and 'Information for Good'.
Must have:
  • 15+ years of selling experience in SLED Social Services.
  • Strong history of quota attainment.
  • Strong forecast and revenue projection skills.
  • Ability to build, cultivate, and close sales pipeline.
  • Ability to work with Channel sales strategies.
  • Aptitude in Public Sector SLED- Social Services sales and marketing techniques.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
  • Proficiency with other software applications.
  • Internet savvy.
  • Leverage existing relationships with Public Sector Executive decision makers.
  • Proven "hunter" sales experience.
Good to have:
  • Background in account management relative to SLED- Social Services.
  • Background in inside sales relative to SLED- Social Services.

What You'll Bring:

  • 15+ years of selling experience in the information solutions servicing SLED Social Services.
  • Strong demonstrable history of quota attainment.
  • Strong demonstrable forecast and revenue projection skills.
  • Strong demonstrable ability to build, cultivate and close pipeline.
  • Ability to work with Channel sales strategies to develop and cultivate your sales territory.
  • Selling / Relationship Management Ability: Demonstrated aptitude in Public Sector SLED- Social Services sales and marketing techniques. Background in account management and/or inside sales preferred relative to SLED- Social Services
  • Positive Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively establish positive relationships with customer base and deal effectively with front-line and upper management
  • “Can-do” attitude. This role supports the direct sales force and that organization is often a very fast paced, reactive role making this role often very different from day to day.
  • Communication: Ability to demonstrate written and verbal competence including strong presentation skills along with the ability to persuade, influences, and convince others in both formal and informal settings while presenting in a professional demeanor to internal and external customers
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft applications and other software applications and Internet savvy.

Pay Scale Information:

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $94,000.00 - $148,000.00 annually. This position is eligible for both base pay and commission earnings. TransUnion commission targets are generally 20% – 50% of base salary and may vary based on position. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
