Qualcomm is seeking smart, innovative, and motivated individuals for its ADAS SW platform Integration project. The role involves working with C++ and contributing to the development of the next-generation software-defined vehicle (SDV) using Snapdragon Digital Chassis and Snapdragon Ride technologies. Responsibilities include defining functional concepts for Adaptive AUTOSAR based Automated Driving software platforms, contributing to software product development and integration, and implementing improvements on current solutions. The candidate will also review and approve technical solutions. Prior experience in ADAS domain and service-oriented communication is beneficial.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 2+ years of Software Engineering experience
  • Proficiency in C++ or C
  • Academic or work experience with programming languages
Good to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Informatics
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Deep knowledge of C++ (14/17, 20) and Python
  • Familiarity with Design Patterns
  • Software development for UNIX platforms (Linux, QNX)
  • Experience with software debugging and validation
  • Knowledge of Coding Standards (MISRA for C++)
  • Adaptive AUTOSAR configuration and development
  • Experience with software development and integration
  • Familiarity with SW tools (Git, Jira, Bazel, CI)
  • Experience in ADAS domain
  • Experience with service-oriented communication (SOME/IP)

We are looking for smart, innovative, and motivated individuals to work on our ADAS SW platform Integration project, with strong SW background and programming experience for C++ language.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be part of functional concepts definition for Adaptive AUTOSAR based Automated Driving software platform.
  • Contribute to software product development and platform integration and deployment.
  • Have a hands-on approach in implementing improvements on current solutions.
  • Review and approve technical solutions.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    •    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
    OR
    Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
    OR
    PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

    • 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics or equivalent.

    • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience.

    • Deep knowledge of (C++ (14/17, 20) and Python.

    • Good knowledge and usage experience of Design patterns.

    • Software development for UNIX platforms (e.g. Linux, QNX).

    • Experience with Software applications debugging and validation.

    • Coding Standards (e.g. MISRA for C++)

    • Adaptive AUTOSAR configuration and application development.

    • Hands-on experience with software development and software platforms integration.

    • Experience with SW tools such as Enterprise Architect, Git, Jira, Google Test, Bazel, Artifactory, CI.

    Nice to have:

    • Previous SW development experience for ADAS domain.

    • Service oriented communication (e.g SOME/IP).
