About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Communications Specialist who will play a pivotal role in effectively conveying our corporate messages externally and internally, helping to enhance the company’s brand profile in the Chinese market and our employer branding as a great place to work.

Role responsibilities:

  • Work together with Communications Director in developing and delivering comprehensive local communications strategies both external and internal
  • Assist in maintaining and expanding relationships with key media outlets and other key stakeholders
  • Support the production and dissemination of communication materials such as press releases, brochures, website/intranet content, and other communications materials and report on the effectiveness of communications
  • Identify internal communications needs and fulfil them through creative engagement initiatives
  • Communicate key messages which inform and empower our staff to deliver our business strategy, and help connect the China team to the rest of the company
  • Manage multiple channels including newsletters, emails, Microsoft Teams, videos and Hive
  • Support issue/crisis management

Role requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Journalism, Communications, or related fields
  • 3-5 years of experience in media communications, with strong media network
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese is a must
  • Hands-on experience with employee communications will be an advantage
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and creative in content creation
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work confidently and effectively with stakeholders at all levels across regional/global geographies
