Job Description

For Skipr and Zorgvisie, leading brands in healthcare policy and management, we are immediately looking for an Editor/Journalist. This full-time role involves closely following current events and developments in Dutch healthcare, translating topics into text and audio, and being active on social media. You will develop broad knowledge of the Dutch healthcare system and contribute to various brand channels.

  • Seek angles for research.
  • Independently translate subjects into text and/or audio.

  • Contribute to the various channels of Skipr and Zorgvisie.
  • Be a thorough news hunter.
  • Delve into the backgrounds of the news and be able to convert complex topics into good stories.
  • Follow current events closely, be visible on social media, and work digital first.
  • Have an interest in healthcare.
  • Be innovative and eager to learn.
  • Be a networker and a team player.
  • Be results-oriented, take initiative, collaborate, be proactive, creative, and stress-resistant.
  • Possess a completed journalistic education and HBO/WO work and thinking level.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience as a (web)editor.
  • Be skilled in telling stories in text, image, and sound.

Are you an experienced journalist with an interest in Dutch healthcare? Then we are looking for you!

What will you do?

  • You closely follow current events and all developments (politics, policy, and organization) within healthcare and look for angles for research.
  • You independently translate subjects into text and/or audio. You are active on various social media.
  • You develop into a journalist with broad knowledge of the Dutch healthcare system.
  • You contribute to the various channels of the Skipr and Zorgvisie brands.

What do we ask of you?

  • You are a thorough news hunter.
  • You delve into the backgrounds of the news and are able to convert complex topics into good stories.
  • You closely follow current events, are visible on social media, and work digital first.
  • You have an interest in healthcare.
  • You are innovative and eager to learn.
  • You are a networker and a team player.
  • You possess our (core) competencies: you are results-oriented, take initiative, and collaborate. In addition, you are proactive, creative, and stress-resistant.

What is your background?

  • You have a completed journalistic education and have an HBO/WO work and thinking level.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a (web)editor.
  • You are skilled in telling stories in text, image, and sound.
  • Knowledge about the organization of healthcare in the Netherlands is a plus.

The position is classified in scale G (min: 3,233.33 euro – max: 4,511.09 euro gross per month based on 36 hours).
