This includes content strategy development, measuring content impact, content planning, testing and innovating new content formats, and ensuring seamless content integration across channels. The role requires a creative and strategic thinker passionate about storytelling and innovative content approaches. The role is for a 12-month maternity cover contract.

We are looking for a talented and strategic Senior Content Marketing Manager to join the Mar Comms team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

Your role within the Kingdom:
As a Senior Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our content strategy for Candy Crush Saga, ensuring it aligns with our brand, audience needs, and business goals. You will work cross-functionally within the Mar Comms team (PR, Social, Creators & CRM) to develop content initiatives that drive engagement and innovation.

  • Content Strategy – Own and evolve our content strategy to define Candy Crush Saga’s brand narratives. Work closely with Brand Communications, CRM, Product, Brand Partnerships, and Media teams to turn strategy into engaging content across all channels. Influence senior stakeholders to ensure our content direction supports business goals.

  • Measure Content Impact – Lead the measurement of Mar Comms content. Maintain a clear framework to track effectiveness, analyse channel benchmarks, and connect content performance with brand impact. Regularly report performance to the business in a clear and actionable way.

  • Content Planning – Drive the content planning process across Mar Comms. Own and maintain a high-level annual content calendar that aligns with key activations, campaigns, and always-on content. Ensure all plans are integrated and effectively deliver brand narratives.

  • Test & Innovate – Innovate and experiment with new content formats, analyse results, and refine approaches to maximize performance.

  • Cross-Channel Integration – Work closely with Mar Comms teams to ensure seamless content integration across channels (e.g., CRM and social).

  • Proven experience in a content strategy role, ideally within the entertainment sector or a culturally relevant brand with a global audience.

  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into actionable content strategies.

  • Creative and strategic thinker, passionate about storytelling and innovative content approaches.

  • Expertise in content planning and execution across owned and earned channels.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.

  • Strong stakeholder management, adept at navigating differing expectations and aligning teams toward shared goals.

  • Proven ability to lead large-scale projects, balancing attention to detail with a strategic, big-picture perspective.

  • Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage competing priorities and challenge conventional thinking.

  • Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments, demonstrating agility and confidence in sometimes challenging situations.
