Senior Data Scientist

This Senior Data Scientist role involves partnering with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for data analytics and AIML projects. Responsibilities include designing interactive dashboards using BI tools, writing complex SQL and Python/R for data manipulation, supporting AIML initiatives, conducting A/B testing, and maintaining documentation. The role requires proficiency in SQL, Python, BI tools, and cloud platforms, with a focus on data quality and Agile methodologies.

Must Have

• Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for data analytics and AIML projects.
• Design and deliver interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
• Write complex SQL queries and use Python/R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation of data pipelines.
• Work alongside data scientists and engineers to support AIML initiatives, including data preparation, feature analysis, and model monitoring.
• Conduct A/B testing, hypothesis testing, KPI development, and trend analysis to validate business strategies and inform decision-making.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation (BRDs, FRDs, data mappings, process flows, use cases) using tools like Visio, ADO.
• Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery) to work with structured and unstructured datasets for analytics and ML use cases.
• Advocate for data quality and governance, ensuring clean, reliable data is used in decisioning processes and ML pipelines.
• Participate in Agile formalities and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness with cross-functional teams.
• 2 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or a related role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, Seaborn, Matplotlib), and basic R.
• Strong experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Excel).
• Familiarity with AIML concepts and workflows, ability to work alongside data scientists and interpret model results.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience working with wireframing and collaboration tools like Figma, Visio, Lucidchart.
• Demonstrated experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation (BRD, FRD, UAT).
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery.

Required Skills Experience

• 2 years of experience in Business Analysis Data Analytics or a related role
• Proficiency in SQL Python Pandas Seaborn Matplotlib and basic R
