Job Description

The Senior Demand Planner role at Marvell involves driving accurate, data-informed forecasts. This includes managing the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in collaboration with various departments like Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain. The role also requires working closely with Business Units to gather market intelligence and customer trends, and influencing executive-level decisions with data-driven insights and scenario planning. Responsibilities include analyzing demand trends, monitoring KPIs, and identifying performance issues.

  • 5-10 years of Demand Planning experience

Your Team, Your Impact

The Demand Planning team plays a critical role in driving accurate, data-informed forecasts that support operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. This team (1) drives the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain, (2) collaborates closely with Business Units to capture market intelligence, customer trends, and new product introductions, and (3) influences executive-level decisions with data-driven insights and scenario planning.

What You Can Expect

- Use data analytics to identify Demand Planning performance issues and drive actions

- Analyze demand trends, backlog, bookings, point-of-sales, and etc. against historical trends to identify anomalies

- Publish and monitor supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Monitor Demand plans vs. actuals to identify variance and drive actions

- Ad-hoc projects that involving cross-functional teams from Finance, Sales and Product Marketing teams  

What We're Looking For

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, or related fields with 5-10 years of related professional Demand Planning and/or Supply Chain experience OR Master’s degree in business, data science, or related fields with 3-5 years of experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite; high proficiency in MS Excel
  • Interested in learning about Demand Planning, forecasting, automation, and data flow

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Semiconductor Industry experience
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Very task-oriented
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

80,100 - 120,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
