Job Description
This role involves designing, implementing, and improving CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based Analytics solutions. The Senior DevOps Engineer will assist teams with automated testing, infrastructure provisioning, and production releases, while also identifying and addressing technical debt. Key responsibilities include ensuring cloud environments adhere to standards, troubleshooting issues, performing Python code delivery and review, and implementing automation across cloud solutions for a market-leading German company.
Must have:
- Design, implement, and improve build and release pipelines for cloud-based Analytics solutions.
- Help teams with CI/CD setup for automated testing, infrastructure provisioning, and production releases.
- Identify and address technical debt.
- Ensure cloud environments adhere to standards and policies, and are kept clean and efficient.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues related to cloud environments.
- Perform Python code delivery and review.
- Identify, implement, and improve automation in various areas of cloud-based solutions.
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps.
- Proficiency in CI/CD.
- 2+ years of experience with Elasticsearch.
- 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes (including cluster operation/ownership).
- 3+ years of experience with Docker.
- 1+ years of experience with Argocd.
- 2+ years of experience with Python.
- Knowledge of cloud security measures (e.g., GCP account security hardening).
- Experience with SPIFFE.
- Experience with Istio.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry solutions (otel, tracing).
Good to have:
- Experience with GitHub actions.
- Knowledge of Linux.
- Experience with Logstash.
- Experience with Kibana.
- Experience with Grafana.
- Experience with Prometheus.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence.
