Job Description

The Senior Director of Product Management leads the strategic vision and execution of a product portfolio, overseeing its entire lifecycle from conception to launch. This role drives cross-functional collaboration to develop and deliver innovative solutions that meet market needs and align with business objectives. The Senior Director fosters a strong customer-centric approach, leads a high-performing product management team, and is critical in driving strong market adoption, competitive positioning, and revenue growth for the product portfolio.
Must have:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive product portfolio strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Drive product portfolio positioning, pricing, and launch.
  • Collaborate effectively with segment leader(s), marketing, engineering and sales leadership.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  • Identify and monitor key product portfolio performance indicators.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product management associates.
  • At least 15 years’ experience of B2B pre-sales / solutions consulting/ product management/ project management or go-to-market roles on data analytics products / industry.
  • At least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment.
  • Proficiency in product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, CRAFT).
  • Bachelors Degree with major in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, Technology or related disciplines.

The Senior Director of Product Management leads the strategic vision and execution of a product portfolio of varied products, overseeing the entire lifecycle from conception to launch by driving cross-functional collaboration to develop and deliver innovative solutions that meet market needs and align with business objectives, while fostering a strong customer-centric approach and leading a high-performing product management team.

The Senior Director of Product Management is critical in driving strong market adoption, competitive positioning, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive product portfolio strategy aligned with company goals, including market analysis, competitive assessment, and product portfolio roadmap creation.
  • Drive product portfolio positioning, pricing, and launch ensuring consistent brand messaging and optimized campaign support.
  • Collaborate effectively with segment leader(s), marketing, engineering and sales leadership to ensure seamless product portfolio development and launch.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and market trends, actively incorporating customer feedback into portfolio roadmap decisions.
  • Identify and monitor key product portfolio performance indicators (inclusive of pipeline and revenue), analyze data to inform portfolio strategy and decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product management associates to include people leaders, providing guidance and support to drive performance and professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance team culture.

Skills and/or Certifications:

  • At least 15 years’ experience of B2B pre-sales / solutions consulting/ product management/ project management or go-to-market roles on data analytics products / industry, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment.
  • Proven track record of managing product launches and go-to-market strategies.
  • Analytical capabilities to assess market performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Bias for action and results oriented, with proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks within defined deadlines and prioritize own and team workload.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to align go-to-market strategies with broader business goals.
  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle, customer journey, and the role of product management in go-to-market success
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage other people leaders and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of the industry and market trends relevant to the company’s products.
  • Proficiency in product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, CRAFT).
