Job Description

The Senior Coordinator Facility Management is responsible for the comprehensive management and coordination of facility services across multiple sites in Germany, with a primary focus on Alzenau and the Rhine-Main region. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and service quality through effective vendor management and internal stakeholder collaboration.
Must have:
  • Manage facility operations at Alzenau and two additional sites in the Rhine-Main area
  • Coordinate facility services (e.g., cleaning, catering, mail, crane systems, shelving, DGUV-V3 inspections)
  • Oversee external facility service providers (IFM), including performance evaluation via KPIs
  • Act as liaison between internal customers and external vendors
  • Advise on procurement, maintenance, and commissioning of technical systems and equipment
  • Handle disruptions, warranty issues, and escalations
  • Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and quality guidelines (IQMS)
  • Support budget planning and monitoring
  • Maintain documentation in CAFM systems (e.g., TriRiga, Maximo)
  • Organize internal relocations
  • Conduct site inspections to identify and implement repair measures
  • Collaborate with EHS to uphold environmental, health, and safety standards
  • Degree in Facility Management or technical training (e.g., electrical, HVAC, mechanical) with further qualification as technician/master and additional certification in Facility or Building Management
  • Several years of experience in Facility Management
  • Project management experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, CAFM systems
  • Fluent in German; good command of English (written and spoken)

Job Summary:

This role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and service quality through effective vendor management and internal stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage facility operations at Alzenau and two additional sites in the Rhine-Main area
  • Provide remote support to other German sites with occasional travel
  • Coordinate facility services (e.g., cleaning, catering, mail, crane systems, shelving, DGUV-V3 inspections)
  • Oversee external facility service providers (IFM), including performance evaluation via KPIs
  • Act as liaison between internal customers and external vendors
  • Advise on procurement, maintenance, and commissioning of technical systems and equipment
  • Handle disruptions, warranty issues, and escalations
  • Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and quality guidelines (IQMS)
  • Support budget planning and monitoring

Required Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in Facility Management, ideally in the semiconductor or high-tech industry
  • Project management experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, CAFM systems; CAD knowledge is a plus
  • Fluent in German; good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Independent, structured, and service-oriented work style with strong interpersonal skills
  • Cost-conscious and analytical mindset
