Job Summary

Inkitt seeks a Senior Front-End Engineer to architect, build, and manage their global mobile applications (Inkitt, Galatea, and GalateaTV). Responsibilities include building new features, collaborating with product and design teams, driving architectural decisions for a world-class user experience, exploring new technologies, and gathering user feedback. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience with large codebases, JavaScript, React Native, and React, and experience mentoring junior engineers is a plus. Experience with mobile app release processes (App Store/Google Play) is also beneficial.

What You’ll Do:

Help architect, build, iterate, and manage our global mobile application, Inkitt, Galatea and our new app, GalateaTV! (you can find it in the App Store / Google Play)
Build and ship new features at high velocity and high quality
Work closely with our Product Managers and Designers to achieve product goals
Contribute your ideas to the product's roadmap
Drive the architecture and technology choices that enable a world-class user experience
Continuously explore new technologies that will elevate the user experience of customers in order to be at the forefront of a rapidly changing digital environment
Stay close with our users, to understand why they are using the product, collect feedback and apply it in your work

What You'll Bring:

CS Degree or in a related field
7+ years of experience working within large, well-maintained codebases
Experience using JavaScript, React Native, and React
Experience mentoring juniors is a plus
Experience in working with mobile apps as well as understanding a release process in App Store/Google Play is a plus
