About the role:

We take great pride in creating and offering our players a wide range of different art styles and themes in our games. As a Senior Game Artist, you’ll be the driving force in taking game assets from great to extraordinary, pushing them to a level of polish and perfection that elevates the entire player experience. Acting as a creative satellite between two teams and projects, you will see opportunities for improvement, refine workflows, and set the standard for excellence across our games.

A typical work week as a Game Artist can consist of:

• Polishing Assets to Perfection: Refine and enhance existing game assets, ensuring they reach the highest possible quality. Your expertise in materials such as gold, gemstones, and metallic surfaces will bring depth, realism, and storytelling to every detail.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work as a satellite between two teams and two projects, identifying opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and the overall artistic impact of each game.
• Storytelling Through Art: Use visual storytelling to make assets not only beautiful but also meaningful within the game world, enhancing player immersion and engagement.
• Hands-On Creation: While much of your focus will be on polishing, you’ll also create high-quality 2D assets and UI elements when needed, prepared for seamless handover to animators.
• Raising the Bar: Help shape and push the boundaries of our visual quality, inspiring other artists while ensuring consistency and alignment with each game’s unique art direction.
• Communication: Partner with the Art Director and Creative Director to follow the unique art style of each game. Be open to feedback and take the initiative to independently enhance and perfect your work, while still ensuring it aligns with the creative vision.
• Innovation: Push the boundaries of what is possible in the realms of iGames to create visually stunning and memorable experiences.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years creating 2D assets within the iGaming industry, with proven expertise in polishing and refinement.
• Materials Mastery: Exceptional ability to render and polish materials such as gold, gemstones, and metallic surfaces with striking realism and artistry.
• Polishing Expertise: Skilled at taking assets from “good” to “unforgettable,” ensuring every detail is aligned with the creative vision and ready for production. Skilled at polishing characters is a plus but not required.
• Software Skills: Strong knowledge of Photoshop. Knowledge of 3D tools is a plus but not required.
• Portfolio: A captivating portfolio showcasing both original asset creation and refined/polished work, with examples of storytelling, material rendering, and diverse art styles.
• Creativity & Storytelling: A sharp eye for detail, composition, color, and lighting, with the ability to imbue assets with narrative depth and artistic intent.
• Passion for Gaming: A genuine love for games and a deep understanding of what makes them visually engaging and immersive.
• Language: Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Swedish is a plus but not required.
