Associate Principal - Architecture

This role is for an Associate Principal - Architecture, requiring 10 years of IT experience with a focus on Azure VMware Solution and VMware vSphere. The successful candidate will partner with architects and service delivery teams to plan and implement infrastructure deployments and migrations, moving large enterprise customers from on-premises VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution. Responsibilities include defining requirements with stakeholders, maintaining knowledge of Azure AVS and VMware products, and sharing expertise. Strong technical skills in VMware's core cloud infrastructure, Azure networking, and security concepts are essential, along with excellent communication.

Must Have

• Partner with Architects and service delivery teams to plan and implement infrastructure deployments and migrations for large enterprise customers.
• Move customers from on-premises VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution.
• Work with customer application, infrastructure, and security stakeholders to define requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest on Azure AVS and VMware products.
• Implement and migrate data center and cloud infrastructures using VMware and Microsoft technologies.
• Knowledge and implementation experience on VMware's Core Cloud Infrastructure (Azure VMware Solution, VMware vSphere 6.0+, VMware NSX-T, VMware vSAN, VMware HCX Advanced Enterprise).
• Experience with on-premises-to-Cloud or cloud-to-cloud migrations with VMware HCX.
• Experience with Azure technologies (ExpressRoute, VPN, Virtual WAN, Route Server, networking).
• Strong understanding of hardware platform, hypervisor, networking, security, data protection, high availability, monitoring, alerting, patching.
• Familiarity with security compliance standards.
• Experience with Azure Hosting or Infrastructure background and public cloud.
• Good understanding of datacenter networking fabric topologies and common architectures.
• Strong communication skills.
• BS or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or technology-focused discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

You will partner with Architects and service delivery teams to plan and implement infrastructure deployments and migrations for large enterprise customers moving customers from onpremises VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution

You will work directly with customer application infrastructure and security stakeholders to define requirements for successful deployment migrations

Maintain knowledge of the latest on AzureAVS and VMware products in order to deploy and migrate services as per industry best practices

Share knowledge with others through technical documents and internal trainings

A good understanding of datacenter networking fabric topologies and common architectures deployed both Layer 2 and Layer 3 based is highly desired

Education Qualifications

BS or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or technologyfocused discipline or equivalent experience

VCTA VCPDCV certification is preferred but not required

CCNP VCPNV certification is preferred but not required
