Apps Architect

Seeking an experienced Apps Architect with 15+ years in application development, specializing in Azure PaaS modernization and hosting. The role involves guiding development teams, optimizing cloud configurations, and troubleshooting complex application and database migration pathways. Candidates must possess strong web development skills in .NET, Java, Node.js, or Python, and expertise in Azure services like App Service, Functions, and Kubernetes. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential for stakeholder collaboration and solution presentation.

Must Have

• 15+ years in application development
• Experience hosting and configuring applications on servers
• Modernization of applications to Azure PaaS
• Expertise in Azure PaaS hosting configuration optimization
• Technical guidance and management of development teams (5+ members)
• Understanding of application, database, and integration component migration
• Hands-on web development (.NET, Java, Node.js, Python)
• Deployment experience with Azure PaaS services (App Service, Functions, AKS, ACI)
• Database connectivity and configuration skills
• Proficiency in containerizing web applications and services
• Knowledge of hosting containerized applications on Kubernetes
• Ability to analyze application dependencies and configuration issues
• Experience with Azure Log Analytics setup
• Troubleshooting Azure PaaS platform issues
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Primary skills

Primary database skills like database connectivity configurations etc

Well versed with containerizing web application frontend and web services

Should know the nittygritties of hosting containerized application on Kubernetes

Ability to analyze application dependencies

Ability to analyze the application configuration issues

Experience in setting up Log Analytics setup using Azure services
