Job Summary
This Senior Game Designer role at New Tales involves joining the collaborative Action RPG team for Project Fading Echo. The successful candidate will take ownership of the 10-hour game's progression, balancing player perks and enemies, and polishing the game experience based on feedback from its current alpha stage through to release. This is an opportunity to contribute to a genre-defining game using leading technology.
Must Have
- Onboard a project in alpha stage
- Balance, tweak and define progression for player perks and enemies
- Polish the game experience on multiple design topics based on player feedback
- 6+ years’ experience in game development
- Excellent understanding of systemic gameplay
- Experience with Unreal

- Technical background (personal or educational)
- Experience as a player, and/or a previous role on Action RPG

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of most exciting game studios, using leading technology to create new genre-defining games, within our collaborative Action RPG team, on Project Fading Echo.
New Tales is currently looking for a highly motivated and talented Senior Game Designer (F/M) to join our adventure at NEW TALES.
What is the job about?
In order to support the current design team, you will take ownership of the progression of a 10-hour game with RPG elements at ALPHA stage, and drive improvements up until the release of the game.

- 6+ years’ experience in game development.
- Excellent understanding of systemic gameplay

- Demonstrated autonomy and responsibility
- Experience with Unreal

ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS
- Contract: freelance full-time, 6 months
- Please note: all our positions are require on-site attendance.
