Project description

We are seeking an 7y experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with in-depth expertise in infrastructure setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting across cloud and on-premises environments. This role demands a strong background in Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, along with the ability to work independently on complex configurations and deployment environments.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Pipeline Management: Set up, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot GitLab pipelines integrated with Docker, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes to ensure efficient CI/CD workflows.

Azure Administration: Configure, update, and troubleshoot Azure components, including APIM, Application Gateway, and WAF, and manage Azure VMs with a focus on RedHat OS-related issues.

Fabric Management: Administer and configure Fabric environments, resolving deployment and connectivity issues.

Database Administration: Perform CRUD operations, manage database objects, and configure access permissions across environments.

Scripting & API Management: Develop, modify, and run Python scripts, and work with REST APIs and Swagger for efficient automation and integration.

Logging & Monitoring: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot NGINX, Kibana, Elasticsearch, and Linux logging systems for optimal monitoring and troubleshooting.

VM & Server Management: Configure and maintain Windows and Linux VMs and related applications, ensuring all servers meet infrastructure requirements.

Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Docker, Docker Swarm, and AKS for secure and scalable infrastructure.

OS Administration: Manage both Linux and Windows OS environments for stability, performance, and security.

Problem-Solving & Independent Work: Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) on new infrastructure requirements and work independently on small to medium projects with minimal supervision.

Must have

Azure Administration: Extensive experience with Azure services and components, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of APIM, Application Gateway, WAF, and VM management.

CI/CD Pipeline Management: Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting GitLab CI/CD pipelines integrated with Docker, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes for efficient deployment processes.

Containerization & Orchestration: Advanced knowledge of Docker, Docker Swarm, and AKS, with hands-on experience in configuring and managing containerized environments.

Linux & Windows OS Administration: Strong experience in both Linux (RedHat) and Windows administration, with a focus on maintaining performance and security.

Database Management: Skilled in performing CRUD operations, managing database objects, and configuring secure access for robust database administration.

Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python scripting for automation, with solid understanding of REST APIs and Swagger for efficient infrastructure integrations.

Logging & Monitoring: Experience in setting up and managing logging systems such as NGINX, Kibana, Elasticsearch, and Linux logging for effective monitoring and troubleshooting.

Nice to have

Fabric Administration: Knowledge of Fabric administration and configuration, including setup and troubleshooting to support deployment stability.
