Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments team. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Senior Investment Research Analyst will conduct in-depth research and rating of Australian and New Zealand equity strategies, prepare investment due diligence reports, collaborate with global research teams, and articulate investment views to clients. The role also involves supporting broader team activities and maintaining reputation in investment research.

Job Details

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments team. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Conduct in-depth research and rating of Australian and New Zealand equity strategies, including performance analysis, peer group comparisons, and interviews with key decision-makers.
  • Prepare clear, concise investment due diligence reports supporting research ratings and present findings to internal committees and clients.
  • Collaborate with global research teams on projects, process improvements, and producing investment analysis and white papers.
  • Articulate our research process and investment views to clients and external stakeholders, representing us within the investment management community.
  • Support broader team activities and contribute to maintaining our reputation as a leader in investment research.

What you need to have:

  • Experience in the investment management industry preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make decisions based on qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Excellent report writing skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Confident in engaging with investment managers and challenging their strategies.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of presenting and defending views both verbally and in writing.
  • Stable employment record demonstrating growth in responsibility.
  • Solid academic background and computer literacy.
  • Willingness to undertake administrative tasks as needed.
