Must Have:
  • Shape and expand resilience service offerings by integrating risk assessment, operational continuity, and strategic foresight.
  • Contribute to the definition of proprietary methods, frameworks, and tools aligned with international standards and EU directives.
  • Develop thought leadership, articles, and market insights to position Rambøll Management Consulting as a trusted advisor in resilience.
  • Lead assessments, analyses, and implementation roadmaps within resilience under CER, NIS2, and other related legislation.
  • Perform critical assessments, interdependency mapping, and systemic risk assessments across complex organizations.
  • Facilitate workshops with management, operations, security, and risk functions to build resilience capacity and governance.
  • Develop practical guidance on governance structures, escalation protocols, continuity planning, and recovery strategies.
  • Apply scenario analysis and stress testing to support organizational anticipation and preparedness for disruptions.
  • Integrate international standards like ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management) into advisory work.
  • Design and assess resilience governance systems and maturity frameworks.
  • Support clients in integrating enterprise risk management principles into decision-making and operational frameworks.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in resilience, risk management, business continuity, critical infrastructure, protective security, and civil protection.
  • Proven experience as a consultant in an internal or external role with essential service operators, public authorities, or national agencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks or sector-specific resilience legislation.
  • Strong risk insight, including areas such as climate, buildings, supply chains, and cybersecurity.
  • Practical experience with ISO 22301 (Business Continuity).
  • Strong understanding of corporate and operational risks, including systemic risks and organizational interdependencies.
  • Relevant university degree in engineering, risk management, public policy, security studies, sustainability or similar, or a background in defense, police, or emergency services.
  • Fluent in English and Danish.

In your new role as Senior Management Consultant, Resilience Services, you will help lead client advisory with a focus on organizational resilience, critical infrastructure protection, and systemic risk management. Your role will combine strategic advice, technical understanding, and regulatory insight to help organizations operationalize and integrate resilience into their agendas. In this role, you will gain:

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Thought Leadership

  • Shape and expand our service offerings in resilience by integrating risk assessment, operational continuity, and strategic foresight.
  • Contribute to the definition of proprietary methods, frameworks, and tools adapted to international standards and EU directives.
  • Develop thought leadership, articles, and market insights to position Rambøll Management Consulting as a trusted advisor in resilience.

Client Delivery and Consulting

  • Lead assessments, analyses, and implementation roadmaps within resilience under CER, NIS2, and other related legislation.
  • Perform critical assessments, interdependency mapping, and systemic risk assessments across complex organizations.
  • Facilitate workshops with management, operations, security, and risk functions to build capacity and governance regarding resilience.
  • Develop practical guidance on governance structures, escalation protocols, continuity planning, and recovery strategies.
  • Apply scenario analysis and stress testing to support organizational anticipation and preparedness for disruptions in and across sectors.
  • Integrate international standards such as ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management), ISO 31000 (Risk Management), and, where relevant, ISO 27001 (Information Security) into advisory work.
  • Design and assess governance systems and maturity frameworks within resilience.
  • Support clients in integrating enterprise risk management principles into decision-making and operational frameworks.

Practice and Team Development

  • Take on a mentoring role and support junior consultants, helping to build a skilled advisory team working with resilience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in sustainability, engineering, digitalization, and strategy on interdisciplinary client work.
  • Contribute to business development through proposal input, client meetings, and sector engagement.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for the position, we would like you to have the following:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in resilience, risk management, business continuity, critical infrastructure, protective security, and civil protection.
  • Proven experience as a consultant in an internal or external role with essential service operators, public authorities, or national agencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks or sector-specific resilience legislation.
  • Strong risk insight, including areas such as climate, buildings, supply chains, and cybersecurity etc.
  • Practical experience with one or more of the following standards: ISO 22301 (Business Continuity) – ISO 31000 (Risk Management) is not a requirement, but an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and operational risks, including systemic risks and organizational interdependencies and risks within and across sectors.
  • Relevant university degree in engineering, risk management, public policy, security studies, sustainability or similar. Alternatively, a background in defense, police or emergency services may also be relevant.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CBCI, CMIRM, IRM, ISO Lead Auditor/Implementer) are not a requirement, but an advantage.
  • You are fluent in English and Danish.
