Job Description

The Senior Manager, Alliances Marketing EMEA is responsible for creating objectives, building the regional strategy, and leading key programs to grow Veeam’s Alliances network in partnership with business stakeholders. This role involves defining the go-to-market strategy, developing marketing programs, managing relationships with top Alliances, managing the EMEA Alliances budget and analyzing program performance. The role requires aligning strategic planning, ensuring effective communication, increasing Alliance engagement, and collaborating on enablement tools. Responsibilities include owning and driving the EMEA marketing strategy, aligning with the Partner Marketing Plan, and preparing and controlling operating budgets.

The Senior Manager, Alliances Marketing EMEA is responsible for defining objectives, building the regional strategy and leading key programs to drive business growth of Veeam’s Alliances network in partnership with key business stakeholders.

This individual plays a critical role in defining the Alliances go-to-market strategy in collaboration with EMEA Field Marketing, EMEA Partner Marketing EMEA Alliances Sales, EMEA Leadership (Partner, Sales, Marketing), and Global Alliance teams.

             

Alliance Marketing Priorities 

  • Strategy and planning: create the EMEA Alliances Marketing strategy, working closely with Alliance teams in EMEA and Globally. Communicate the plans with all relevant teams.
  • Marketing programs: develop Alliance marketing programs that align with corporate strategy and growth goals; deliver an exceptional alliance experience.
  • Relationship building: manage the Marketing relationship with our top Alliances – including aligning closely with internal Veeam teams (Alliance Managers, Field Marketing and Global Alliances).
  • Budget management: Manage the EMEA Alliances budget and the Alliances PMDF process, to ensure that EMEA Marketing and Field Marketing teams are proactively using PMDF.
  • Measurement and ROI:  analyze and measure the performance of EMEA programs and regional engagements in line with Marketing and business targets.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Own and drive the Veeam EMEA Marketing strategy for alliances
  • Aligning Alliances strategic planning and execution with overall EMEA Partner Marketing Plan and EMEA enterprise and commercial plan.
  • Participate in and contribute to the EMEA Partner Marketing Team goals, activities and processes.
  • Ensure effective alignment and communication between Global, EMEA and Regions around programs, results and best practices
  • Increase overall Alliance engagement
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications, Web, and Product Marketing teams to develop Alliance enablement tools, education tools and campaign collateral
  • Prepare and control operating budgets
  • Ensure alliance MDF processes are understood by the Field and are monitored and used quarterly

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree required

Experience: Significant experience in Alliance Marketing

Skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Alliances ecosystem
  • Demonstrated experience of Alliances Marketing
  • Strong initiative and ability to work effectively under deadline pressures
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to effectively develop and implement Marketing programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to successfully communicate with all levels of management
  • Experience working with Marketing budgets, Alliance PMDF, and business plans
  • Some travel may be required
