The Senior Manager, Operations Program Management will lead, coordinate, and execute the short and long-term supply strategy to maximize manufacturing outcomes and proactively plan for changing conditions. The individual must be motivated, organized, self-directed, and capable of handling a variety of tasks in highly matrixed environments. Responsibilities include driving efficient production schedules, acting as a cross-functional liaison, supporting New Product Introduction, executing the supply plan, communicating with leadership, monitoring components, ensuring on-time shipments, monitoring costs, and incorporating industry best practices. Travel may be required.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or applicable work experience.
  • 7+ years experience in Supply Chain, Product or Program Management.
  • Experience with end to end product delivery.
  • Experience managing clear to build factory requirements.
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy.
  • Experience with data analysis tools.
Good to have:
  • Master (or greater) level of education.
  • 10+ years experience in consumer electronics device operations.
  • Experience working in various geographic locations.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers.

DESCRIPTION

The Sr. Manager, Operations Program Management will lead, coordinate, and execute the short and long-term supply strategy to maximize manufacturing outcomes, and proactively plan for changing conditions. The individual must be motivated, organized, self-directed, and capable of handling a variety of tasks in highly matrixed environments. The Sr. Manager OPM will balance a mix of strategic, program, and operational responsibilities to optimize build plans, production clear to build, and on-time shipment. The individual is expected to work cross functionally to build consensus among cross functional teams and leadership. The individual will have experience in New Product Introduction in an Operations/Manufacturing role pertaining to Consumer Electronics (or similar) and have proven communications skills and ability to influence.

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Drive efficient production schedules and on-time product shipment across multiple custom and non-custom manufacturers and vendors.

- Act as a key cross-functional liaison between internal Toast teams (Supply, Demand Planning, Logistics, Quality) and external partners to develop manufacturing and supply chain strategies to meet product requirements.

- Support New Product Introduction through manufacturing guidance, forecasting, ramp schedules, risk-buy analysis, landed supply at launch scenario planning, etc.

- Accurately execute the supply plan such that POs and build guidance is given within proper lead-times and aligned with shipping efficiency

- Regular written and verbal communication to Leadership.

- Coordinate information flow across teams in support of manufacturing/operations.

-Monitor components clear to build for rolling 12 month production cycle and escalate any shortages to production.

- Ensure that product shipments are shipped on-time and completely meet the PO quantities and guidance.

- Monitor SKU costs from the manufacturers/OEMs and bridge any deltas or cost increases.

- Bring in and incorporate industry best practices into the Hardware Operations group.

- Travel as required to accomplish business needs.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or applicable work experience.

- 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Product or Program Management, Product Marketing, Business Development.

- Experience with end to end product delivery, supply plan execution and New Product Introduction.

- Experience managing clear to build factory requirements.

- Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition.

- Experience with data analysis tools.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master (or greater) level of education.

- 10+ years experience in consumer electronics device operations, throughout the product life cycle from concept to end-of-life.

- Experience working in various geographic locations.

- Experience working in and with contract manufacturers across multiple countries. 

- Excellent Executive communication skills.
