Senior Manager - Solution Design

This role involves overall responsibility for tender management in Contract Logistics and Distribution, including resource allocation, solution review for accuracy and cost efficiency, and developing team skills. The Senior Manager will build solutions for major opportunities, collaborate with procurement on real estate and automation, and work to improve the hit rate. They will also support sales in customer meetings, assist implementation managers with solution adjustments, and channel product development requests.

Must Have

• Overall responsibility for the tender Management function for Contract Logistics and Distribution tenders
• Responsible for allocating resources to each project
• Review the solutions prepared by the Solution Design team members to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency
• Build own solutions for major opportunities
• Develop the skills of the Solution Design team members
• Work with procurement to stay informed about real estate and new technologies in automation
• Work on consistently improving the hit rate
• Clearly outline solutions in appropriate formats for presentation to customers and hand-over to the implementation team
• Assist sales team in joint meeting with customers to present the solution
• Support Implementation manager in altering the solution design/process where needed
• Channel requests for re-engineering, re-development of Solution product components to BPO
• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 8 years of experience in the industry
• Minimum 5 years experiences at the same level
• Experience in analysis, design or operations of international supply chains
• Direct experience in one or more core industry verticals
• Analytical with proficiency in translating complex requirements into tangible solutions
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong WnD knowledge
• Area Market knowledge
• Strong financial acumen

MAIN TASKS:

Solution Design:

• Develop the skills of the Solution Design team members by providing guidelines and training on methodology and proper usage of cost models
• Work with procurement to stay informed about real estate and new technologies in automation
• Work on consistently improving the hit rate
• Clearly outline solutions in appropriate formats for presentation to customers and hand-over to the implementation team
• Assist sales team in joint meeting with customers to present the solution
• Support customer implementation:
• Support Implementation manager in altering the solution design/process where needed to ensure optimal/ delivery outcome whilst in implementation phase
• Support Product development:
• Channel requests for re-engineering, re-development of Solution product components to BPO

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:

• At least 8 years of experience in the industry with minimum 5 years experiences at the same level
• Experience in analysis, design or operations of international supply chains
• Direct experience in one or more core industry verticals
• Analytical with proficiency in translating complex requirements into tangible solutions
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
