DXC Luxoft is seeking a Senior Manual QA Android to test Android applications integrated with vehicle systems. The role involves ensuring high-quality and reliable performance of Android-based infotainment and vehicle function applications across multiple hardware platforms. Responsibilities include testing vehicle function parts of the Infotainment system (e.g., Climate controls, Vehicle controls), performing cross-platform validation, identifying and documenting software bugs, writing test cases, executing manual and automated tests, collaborating with development teams, and using designated tools for issue tracking. The job requires ensuring traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
Must have:
  • Experience in automotive or embedded systems testing.
  • Experience with test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
  • Proficiency in using documentation tools like Jira.
  • Proficiency in simulation tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer.
  • Ability to work independently and in agile environments.
  • Familiarity with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and infotainment systems.
  • Understanding of Vehicle HAL (VHAL) and vehicle communication protocols.
  • Knowledge in programs as Car Weaver, Teamcenter and Elektra.
  • Familiarity with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and Infotainment systems.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Valid B-class driver's license and comfortable driving test vehicles.
Good to have:
  • Hands-on experience with vehicle hardware including ECUs and diagnostics.

Currently we are growing for our Swedish customers and are looking for Vehicle Functions Infotainment Quality Assurance to join our team. You will be part of our growing organization in Sweden and will be part of developing and testing next gen systems for the Automotive industry for the age of connected, autonomous, electric vehicles.

The scope of work is to ensure high-quality and reliable performance of Android-based infotainment and vehicle function applications across multiple hardware platforms, using various test rigs or testing vehicles.

Responsibilities

Testing Android applications integrated with vehicle systems, covering the Vehicle Functions parts of the Infotainment system (e.g. Climate controls, Vehicle controls, Vehicle settings, Charging settings)

Performing cross-platform validation to ensure consistent functionality across different hardware environments.

Identifying, reproducing, and documenting software bugs with clear and actionable reports.

Writing new test cases for platforms where current documentation is lacking.

Executing both manual and automated test cases (where applicable).

Collaborating with development teams to clarify requirements and expected behaviours.

Using designated tools for issue tracking, test case management, and documentation.

Must have

Proven experience in testing in an automotive or embedded systems context.
