Senior Platform Engineer (QA Automation & DevOps)

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with significant experience in DevOps & QA Automation to improve the performance, scalability, and security of Catch-e's CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure observability, and automated testing. You will play a critical role in designing infrastructure-as-code, codifying deployment pipelines, and implementing test coverage across unit, API, and UI layers. This role will drive infrastructure resilience, eliminate key-person risk, and support the modernization of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Deploy and maintain test automation for unit, API, integration, and UI testing.
• Leverage testing tools such as Pytest, JUnit, Playwright, Postman, Pact, k6.
• Implement secrets management using AWS Secrets Manager.
• Support DAST/SAST tooling and security gates in pipelines (e.g., Trivy, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP).
• Drive observability via Prometheus, Grafana, Wazuh, and log aggregation.
• Collaborate with development teams to enforce test coverage standards.
• Reduce key-person dependency by documenting DevOps workflows and rotating responsibilities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong experience on DevOps, SRE, QA automation experience in a cloud-native SaaS environment.
• Proficient in scripting and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Deep experience in GitLab CI/CD, test automation, and DevOps monitoring tools.
• Exposure to AWS infrastructure services.
• Strong background in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Familiar with Playwright, Selenium, Postman, Pact, k6, or Artillery.
• The candidate must have a strong understanding of an AI IDE and how to leverage it to accelerate software development projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience deploying performance and security gates in CI/CD.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience in ISO 27001-certified or regulated software environments.
• Knowledge of access control policies, consent logging, and DLP monitoring.
