You’ll act as the connective tissue between teams in Germany and the U.S., building relationships, shaping narratives, and translating bold visions into measurable impact.

What you will accomplish:

  • Deliver measurable growth by optimizing the buyer journey on the Global Buying Hub—directly increasing international conversion rates and customer satisfaction across over 150 markets.
  • Lead products from discovery to delivery within your swimlane, to identify and solve the most pressing buyer pain points, translating customer insights into clear, actionable solutions that improve core eBay metrics.
  • Build and own a product roadmap that balances short-term wins with long-term value, aligning tightly with business priorities and driving forward our global commerce vision.
  • Partner closely across time zones with engineering, analytics, design, and business teams in Berlin and the U.S., shaping cohesive and localized buyer experiences at scale.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, e-commerce innovation, and emerging technologies—bringing fresh ideas and competitive thinking into your product strategies and execution.

What you will bring:

  • Proven product leadership experience (typically 8+ years), with a track record of owning complex customer-facing products end-to-end—ideally within global, digital marketplaces or B2C/ C2C environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data, experimentation, and customer insights to inform product strategy and measure outcomes that drive business impact.
  • Ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders across regions and time zones, combining strategic thinking with exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience balancing short- and long-term product bets, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment while staying focused on customer and business value.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional language skills are a plus but not required. We value diverse perspectives and welcome candidates from varied industry backgrounds.
  • Comfort working in hybrid and distributed teams, with ability to be on-site in our Dreilinden office 3 days per week; occasional travel to U.S. or international eBay offices may be required.
