TelevisaUnivision is looking for a strategic and user-focused Senior Product Manager to lead Gamification Product Strategy for ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming app.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Design, Data, Engineering, Program Management, Content Operations, and Editorial/Merchandising—to create engaging, rewarding, and habit-forming experiences for our audiences. Reporting to the VP of Consumer Apps, you will drive product vision, execution, and strategy, shaping the future of gamified engagement in streaming.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)
● Define & Optimize Gamification Strategies – Develop and refine engagement loops, badges, streaks, and reward mechanics to drive habitual content discovery and retention.
● Drive Engagement & Social Discovery – Build interactive features that encourage social sharing, virality, and organic discovery within short-form content experiences.
● Leverage Data to Drive Decisions – Work with data science and engineering to create ranking models, analyze A/B test results, and optimize for engagement KPIs.
● Personalize User Experiences – Collaborate with content programming teams to surface diverse, high-quality clips, while ensuring editorial teams have the CMS tools needed for curation.
● Advocate & Influence – Use data, storytelling, and persuasion to align our product initiatives with the goals and needs of leadership, legal, marketing, and engineering teams.
● Simplify & Scale – Prioritize impactful, scalable improvements that balance short-term execution with a long-term vision for content feed evolution.
● Stay Ahead of Trends – Monitor short-form video trends, competitors (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reelshort, Dramabox), and user behaviors to inform strategy.
● Foster a Collaborative Culture – Lead by example, promoting a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture that empowers teams to do their best work.
YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)
● 5+ years of Product Management experience, including 1+ year as a Senior PM, ideally in short-form video, streaming, social media, content platforms, mobile, or social gaming.
● Experience working on algorithmic feeds, recommendation systems, or ranking models in consumer-facing products.
● Deep understanding of gamification mechanics—streaks, in-app currency, badges, and engagement loops that influence user behavior.
● Strong data-driven decision-making skills—familiarity with A/B testing, engagement metrics, and data-driven iteration.
● Proven ability to ship high-impact features that enhance engagement, retention, and business outcomes.
● Exceptional collaboration and leadership skills, ability to align teams, simplify complexity, and drive execution at scale.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to rally cross-functional teams and present to executives.
● Bonus: Experience in mobile gaming or working with social media-style engagement models.
