Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- 10 years of experience with product management with a focus on enterprise storage or database products.
- Experience designing for disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Experience pricing IaaS or PaaS product offerings.
- Experience working across multiple teams and delivering platform wide solutions.
- Experience driving results in collaborative and cross-functional environments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Craft a compelling Platform storage product-line idea and long-term roadmap that aligns with market opportunities and company goals, and lead the development of business cases for new product initiatives.
- Understand customer pain points, use cases, and the competitive landscape in Storage, conduct market research, competitive analysis, and collaborate with engineering teams to gather insights.
- Manage the product life-cycle, from ideation and requirements definition to launch, iteration, and end-of-life.
- Partner with Google product areas, engineering, and support to define product requirements, create compelling go-to-market strategies, and ensure product launches.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
