The Senior Project Manager (Cybersecurity) will lead complex and strategic global Cyber Security projects and initiatives. This role involves developing solutions that address both IT departmental and enterprise-wide business needs. The Project Manager will craft detailed project plans, oversee global resources, ensure effective project communication, and lead the successful execution of assigned projects. Responsibilities include end-to-end project management, managing multiple projects, providing leadership in solution implementation, working with stakeholders, reporting project status, mitigating risks, managing team members, conducting meetings, developing cutover plans, carrying out project closedown activities, and participating in IT Portfolio Governance & Project Management initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong and proactive presence, possess excellent relationship-building and people skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Must have:
- BS degree in IT-related area
- 5+ years of IT Project Manager experience
- Experience delivering Cyber Security driven projects
- Knowledge of Cyber Security trends and tools
- Skilled in Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid workflow environments
- Experience in Project Mgmt. tools
- Excellent relationship-building and people skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to solve problems independently
Good to have:
- Professional designation or certification in the security field
- PMP Certification

About the Role:
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead complex and strategic global Cyber Security projects and initiatives. This role involves developing solutions that address both IT departmental and enterprise-wide business needs. The Project Manager will be tasked with crafting detailed project plans, overseeing global resources, ensuring effective project communication, and leading the successful execution of assigned projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide end-to-end project management for assigned projects
- Actively manage multiple projects that may be in different phases of development
- Provide leadership and direction in the analysis, selection, design, and implementation of solutions
- Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and other identified stakeholders to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing for new initiatives
- Provide status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues
- Mitigate risk utilizing contingency plans as necessary and manage through issue resolution
- Manage team members to meet individual project assignments and project milestones
- Conduct regular meetings with project and business stakeholders to review project status and drive decision making
- Develop detailed cutover plans for Go-Live to ensure successful implementation
- Carry out project closedown activities and transition to ongoing operational support
- Participate in IT Portfolio Governance & Project Management initiatives as requested
What You Need to Succeed:
- BS degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or other IT-related area
- 5+ years of progressive experience as an IT Project Manager with a minimum of 2 of those years delivering Cyber Security driven projects
- A strong and proactive presence as well as stakeholder management is a must for this role
- Knowledge of trends, principles, standards, practices, and tools pertaining to Cyber Security
- Skilled at leading project teams in either an Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid workflow environment
- Experience in Project Mgmt. tools (i.e. MS DevOps, MS Project, Atlassian Jira)
- Excellent relationship-building and people skills, with an ability to develop strong and trustworthy relationships across multiple teams and end-users
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to solve problems, even in ambiguous environments
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
- Ability to make decisions independently
- Strong command of the English language
