About the Role/ The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Director of Social to elevate Sitecore’s global social media presence and bring our brand to life across every channel. This candidate will define and execute a bold social strategy that grows our communities, inspires engagement, and positions Sitecore as the voice of authority in digital experience. This role blends creative vision with strategic rigor. You’ll oversee our social presence, drive content innovation, and ensure every campaign is designed to resonate in culture, grow brand love, and generate business impact

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the global social media strategy: Define, execute, and evolve a social-first strategy that defines our channels, drives engagement, brand relevance, and business growth.
  • Elevate the voice of Sitecore: Establish a consistent, distinct social tone that brings the brand, and our leadership, to life.
  • Drive breakthrough campaigns: Collaborate cross-functionally to create social-first campaigns that tie to cultural moments and amplify our thought leadership.
  • Integrate with demand generation: Partner with all parts of the marketing organization to ensure social content ladders into fully integrated, pipeline-driving programs.
  • Measure and optimize performance: Use analytics to track KPIs, report results, and continuously refine content for maximum impact.
  • Build community and advocacy: Engage directly with audiences, influencers, and customers to foster meaningful connections and amplify brand love.
  • Experiment and innovate: Stay ahead of emerging platforms, formats, and trends—testing bold ideas that keep Sitecore at the cutting edge. Test and launch new social channels like TikTok to expand our reach.
  • Lead the integration of corporate social media channels with executive social programs, ensuring alignment of messaging and tone while maximizing the impact of executive voices in driving brand visibility, thought leadership, and audience engagement:

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in social media
  • Proven success managing social strategies for global B2B or B2C brands with measurable growth results.
  • Demonstrated track record of growing and engaging social communities at scale.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills—both written and visual.
  • AI-forward thinker who leverages technology to scale, while being thoughtful about when and where
  • Expertise in social analytics tools, listening platforms, and paid/organic strategy.
  • Experience concepting and leading video-first content as well as a flair for engaging written communication.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to inspire teams, influence stakeholders, and operate in a fast-moving environment.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • Experience in SaaS, B2B marketing, or digital experience technology.
  • Creative portfolio showcasing work that resonates in culture and delivers measurable results.

Candidates should be ready to showcase a portfolio that includes:

  • Examples of creative content (video, social-first creative, influencer partnerships).
  • Case studies documenting campaign strategy, execution, and outcomes.
  • Evidence of integrating social into broader brand, demand gen, or thought leadership initiatives.
