Job Description

As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for Eleventh Hour Games, you will be a subject matter expert owning the testing process, risk management, and quality evaluation for Last Epoch. This position requires a deep understanding of ARPGs, a commitment to a clear and bug-free experience, and strong communication skills. You will work autonomously within a fully remote team, manually testing features, creating test plans, and collaborating with developers and product owners to ensure high-quality releases.
Must have:
  • Own testing, risk management, and quality for Last Epoch.
  • Deep ARPG understanding, especially Last Epoch.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Work autonomously in a remote team.
  • Manual testing in Unity Editor and builds.
  • Create and maintain test plans and documentation.
  • Translate requirements into test cases.
  • Collaborate with developers on issues.
  • Assist release candidate build verification.
  • Verify bug fixes across product cycles.
  • Define acceptance criteria and plan test coverage.
  • Investigate player bugs and create reports.

What is your role?

As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for Eleventh Hour Games, you will be a subject matter expert whom can own the testing process, risk management, and quality evaluation of Last Epoch. This position will require a candidate with deep understanding of ARPGs, specifically adapting to Last Epoch, who understands the importance of a clear and bug-free experience for all players. This role is ideal for someone who craves ownership and has strong communication skills, both written and verbal. The role requires autonomy as you will be working with a fully remote team.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a QA focused role at a gaming company
  • Successful experience with manual testing processes
  • Proven ability to own features, analyze risk, and accurately communicate the status of a featureset
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes of issues
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
  • Professional understanding of tools associated with Game Development (Engines, Confluence, Issue Tracking Databases, etc)
  • Experience with ARPGs (Last Epoch knowledge a plus)

Responsibilities:

  • Manually tests, in build and Unity Editor, new features and bug fixes from the development team
  • Create, own, and maintain test planning and documentation for complex features and systems
  • Translate feature requirements into effective test cases
  • Work with Developers to investigate and gather information that helps their efforts
  • Integrating into a feature team as an embedded analyst, maintaining a clear line of communication and writing reports for relevant stakeholders
  • Assist with release candidate build verification
  • Verify fixes are implemented correctly throughout the product cycle in both consumer and development environments
  • Work with product owners, developers, and QA management to define acceptance criteria, identify risks, and plan testing coverage for upcoming features/releases
  • Investigate player reported bug reports to create comprehensive, easy to understand internal reports for developers
