Job Description

As a Senior Security Consultant, you'll help clients prepare for, mitigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats. Responsibilities include assisting with complex incidents, forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage. You'll assess client networks, applications, and devices, emulating the latest attack techniques. You'll act as a technical advocate for information security requirements, providing expertise across the information security domain. You'll also present complex concepts to various stakeholders and lead engagements with cross-functional teams. This involves conducting technical security assessments, addressing incidents using DoD standards, evaluating security compromises, implementing preventative measures, and managing crisis response operations.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.
  • 6 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.
  • Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience implementing industry-leading practices around cyber risks and security for clients’ security frameworks using industry standards.
  • Knowledge of the components that comprise a successful information security program.
  • Ability to provide guidance on building or transforming cyber security programs and the implementation of technologies used for enterprise security, and provide advice on best practices for managing the cyber security risks during digital transformation as organizations.
  • Ability to conduct security reviews and maturity assessments across technology and business teams to address cyber risk.
  • Ability to provide clear and organized risk findings and recommendations to clients.

As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for helping clients effectively prepare for, proactively mitigate, and detect and respond to cyber security threats. Security Consultants work on engagements including assisting clients in navigating technically complex and high-profile incidents, performing forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage.

You may also support assessments of client networks, applications and devices by emulating the latest techniques to help them defend against threats, and will be the technical advocate for information security requirements and provide an in-depth understanding of the information security domain. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$194,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
