Job Description

GoDaddy is seeking a skilled Splunk Engineer for its India team to identify and manage security threats, securing assets and information systems. This role involves operating and managing a scalable Splunk environment, developing custom dashboards, reports, and alerts, and collaborating with security architects to deploy new technologies. The engineer will perform proactive threat detection and contribute to operational excellence and continuous enhancement.
Good To Have:
  • Experience with Breach and Attack Simulation solutions.
  • Experience deploying and managing SOAR Solutions.
Must Have:
  • 4+ years’ experience in a Cyber Security environment.
  • Advanced skills in Splunk Enterprise and Splunk ES.
  • Experience with data normalization (CIM compliance) and use case development.
  • Excellent skills in AWS and Azure cloud application security.
  • Experience with researching TTPs and developing high-fidelity detections in various tools/languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and uncover hidden threats or patterns.

What you'll get to do...

  • Operate and manage a scalable Splunk Environment.
  • Develop and maintain custom Splunk dashboards, reports, alerts, and correlation searches to support security operations.
  • Support compliance and audit requirements by generating reports and maintaining documentation.
  • Work together with security architects and engineers to assess, test, and deploy new security technologies and solutions.
  • Work together with security teams to assess rules and signatures for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform proactive threat detection operations to uncover possible security risks within our organization's networks, systems, and applications.

Your experience should include...

  • 4+ years’ experience in a Cyber Security environment.
