Job Summary

As an Endpoint Security Engineer at GoDaddy, you will implement and operate security technologies for GoDaddy’s Security Operations, VM Program, and workforce security controls. This remote role involves deploying and managing EDR technology and vulnerability scanners across diverse environments (on-prem, public cloud, managed workstations). You will resolve complex security issues, build support processes, and collaborate with Security Operations and Incident Response teams, including on-call duties, to ensure operational reliability and a positive user experience.

Must Have

  • 5+ years of security engineering or security operations in a large-scale environment
  • Hands-on experience with modern endpoint protection technologies like EDR
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts and provide actionable guidance to both highly technical and non-technical workforce members
  • Linux administration and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) and troubleshooting skills

Good to Have

  • Relevant certifications like CISSP or CCNA
  • Familiarity with agile development practices like Scrum and Kanban

Job Description

Location Details: India, Remote

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

As an Endpoint Security Engineer in GoDaddy Information Security’s Enterprise & Infrastructure Security organization, you will be responsible for implementing and operating technologies that enable GoDaddy’s Security Operations, VM Program, and security controls that secure our workforce. What you'll get to do...

  • Deploy and manage Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) technology across GoDaddy’s diverse environment, including on-prem, public cloud, and managed workstations
  • Deploying and managing agent-based and network-based vulnerability scanners in support of GoDaddy’s Vulnerability Management program
  • Act as a primary point of resolution for complex issues arising between workforce members and the security controls protecting endpoints and data that relate to customer or partner concerns. Collaborate multi-functionally to diagnose, resolve, and document solutions for technical and user-impact challenges, ensuring operational reliability and a positive user experience
  • Build, implement, and operate support processes that minimize disruption and ensure a positive end-user experience for system administrators and other internal collaborators
  • Join forces with Security Operations and Incident Response as necessary to assist in the response to security incidents, including rotational on-call duties

Your experience should include...

  • 5+ years of security engineering or security operations in a large-scale environment
  • Hands-on experience with modern endpoint protection technologies like EDR
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts and provide actionable guidance to both highly technical and non-technical workforce members
